History

Found111’s original site was a temporary space at 111 Charing Cross Road, previously the old Central St Martins School of Art. For decades the site was a hub of creativity and the springboard for some of the most seminal artists of our contemporary cultural landscape.

Run by Emily Dobbs, FOUND111 at Charing Cross Rd was a critically acclaimed space for exciting theatre and was dubbed by the Evening Standard ” London’s most fashionable pop up theatre”. The unique site specific venue was home to hit productions’ The Dazzle starring Andrew Scott and David Dawson and Bug starring James Norton and Kate Fleetwood. Found111 was nominated for the Peter Brook Empty Space award in 2017.
