About Us.

Emily Dobbs Productions is an independent, commercial Theatre Company run by Emily Dobbs.  Emily trained as an actress at Central School of Speech and Drama.  In 2015 she founded and opened a new temporary theatre – Found111 – at the site of the old Central St Martins School of Art on the Charing Cross Road. Found111 was a huge commercial and critical success, producing consecutive sell out productions.

Emily Dobbs Productions (EDP) has a diverse artistic policy that includes commissioning original adaptations, contemporary re-imaginings of classics, and revivals and has produced critically acclaimed work across London, at regional venues in the UK, and in New York.  Emily collaborates with the most exciting new talent working in the UK and internationally, to create bold, fresh and fearless work.

Emily commissioned and produced Anya Reiss’ hugely successful Chekhov season – The Seagull, starring Lily James, Uncle Vanya, starring John Hannah and Three Sisters starring Holiday Grainger and Paul McGann.

Emily also runs Jagged Fence Theatre (JFT) in 2006, which is a registered charity, committed to commissioning new writing.
